Parthenocissus quinquefolia

This Virginia creeper is an absolute showstopper in autumn. Its magnificent red hues rival that of Japanese maples. This clump of 5 trunks can be either used as an accent plant, or as a shohin bonsai on its own. When it grows, it  puts out very long shoots that can be wired down to create a cascade-like silhouette. The base of this small tree packs a lot of character and depth.
