Shohin Pinus sylvestris

A nice shohin sized scots pine, bursting with character. The trunk has a lot of movement for such a small tree. The fantastisc old bark makes up for the inverse taper.
I've repotted this tree in the spring of 2021 and was able to remove a big part of the old soil and big root mass. In a couple of years, it can fit a smaller, more suitable pot. It's currently planted in an elegant, shallow Chinese pot. The internodes are getting shorter each year and I already started developping small secondary branches.

In a couple of years, this tree will pack a powerfull image.
